In mid-January, e3Scientific ecologists Rebecca Teele and Melissa Jager joined Te Papa’s Heidi Meudt and Antony Kusabs on a trip into Otago’s alpine zone in search of rare NZ plants. In particular, the group were looking for native forget-me-nots in the beautiful Pisa Range. In very windy conditions, the threatened Myosotis cheesemanii was found, recorded, and sampled (see photo).
