Brandon recently presented a large body of work completed by himself and Bryony at a Fisheries NZ (FNZ) workshop to discuss Fishery Induced Trophic Cascades and Kina Barrens in NZ. e3Scientific prepared a summary report commissioned by FNZ which encompassed the significant body of work that has been completed on this topic in NZ. The workshop was well attended by FNZ, commercial fishers, iwi and renowned researchers in this space and discussed strategies to move towards an ecosystem-based fisheries management.
