Jessie recently attended the FOSS4G SotM Oceania 2023 in Auckland which is run under the OSGeo umbrella. OSGeo is a non-profit that aims to foster and promote the adoption of open source geospatial technology. The conference was attended by over 150 participants from across the globe with many opensource ideas, uses and concepts discussed across the week. The conference concluded with a community day mapathon and product development session. A great catch up with the opensource community and lots of new ideas to apply to the environmental sector!
