In January e3s staff deployed three marine mammal acoustic monitoring moorings in Bluff Harbour. We were joined by a pod of bottlenose dolphins with two young calves in tow during deployment helping to collect data immediately. Bottlenose dolphins are frequent visitors to Bluff Harbour at this time of year, coming in to feed on flounder and blue cod.
