Project Tohu – Recloaking the shoulders of Coronet Peak Mauka mountain

e3Scientific is proud to be working with Queenstown Lakes District Council and partners Te Tapu Te Tapu o Tāne, Citycare Property to deliver Project Tohu, one of the largest revegetation programmes currently being undertaken in Aotearoa.

The project site covers 200 ha on the south facing slopes of Coronet Peak close to Arrowtown and rises to its highest point of 930m.

As part of Project Tohu, e3Scientific will manage the planting of over 500,000 indigenous species of grasses, scrubs and trees on the site.

In the future a community mountain bike trail network, horse and walking trails and local picnic areas will also be established for the community to enjoy.
